Returning Volunteers
If you were part of our VITA program in 2013, we hope you will join us for the 2014 VITA Tax Filing Season. We ask all returning volunteers to register, a registration link will be provided on the website in the Fall.
Training Registration for Returning Volunteers
As soon as the training schedule becomes available, we will post the schedule on the website.
Training Options - updated training will be posted in the Fall of 2013. You can take any or all 3 of the following training options.
Option 1: Link and Learn path to certification.
Option 2: Attend our in-house RETURNING VOLUNTEER training which is intended for those who were certified tax preparers and have had one or two years of experience. This class will focus on Scope of Service, Tax Law Changes, Common Reasons for Return Rejections, Interview Process and Intake Sheet, EITC, Quality Review and Other Scenario Discussion such as unknown SSN, business income, early withdrawal and more.
Option 3: A ‘hands-on’ TaxWise Online computer class for those who were certified tax preparers last year.
